Johannes Weisser has a flourishing international career. Opera engagements have brought him to the Salzburg Festival, Staatsoper Berlin, Teatro Real Madrid, Theater an der Wien, Théâtre de La Monnaie in Brussels, Canadian Opera Company, and many more. His roles include the title role and Leporello in Don Giovanni, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, Schaunard in La Bohème, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Mr. Flint in Billy Bud, Don Pizarro in Fidelio, Achilla in Giulio Cesare and Melisso in Alcina.

He is an unusually active concert singer and he regularly appears at many of the world’s most prominent concert venues. He has done more than a dozen CD-recordings, several of them with the conductor René Jacobs.
