Jakob Bloch Jespersenbass-baritone

The Danish bass-baritone Jakob Bloch Jespersen has appeared with the Royal Danish Opera, Opera Hedeland, Copenhagen Opera Festival and at Dublin Summer Festival. His roles include Leporello and Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Gurnemanz in Wagner’s Parsifal, Basilio in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Frère Laurent in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, Magister in Carl Nielsen’s Maskerade, Collatinus in Britten’s The rape of Lucretia and Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.

He is much in demand as a concert singer and he has appeared in concert venues and at festivals throughout Europe.

In the spring of 2018 he makes his debut at the Norwegian National Opera as Leporello in Don Giovanni.
